Michael Carr Photography recently photographed Kristyn, a Houston area business executive, for her press release photos that were to be used online as well as for print. Kristyn was going to be featured in CRN- 2015 Women of the Channel, and they requested a recent headshot of her. Before Michael photographed Kristyn, he discussed with her how she would be using her corporate headshot and the message she wanted to convey through her business portrait. Based on her marketing and p/r needs, we all agreed it would be best to have a few different poses and facial expressions included in her business portrait session: a business headshot as well as a ¾ length pose. It is always best to have a variety of expressions and poses to select from your headshot session so you can meet and be prepared for those last minute advertising and press release deadlines. As you can see from the two images shown above, each business portrait has different expressions yet both exhibit confidence.
